UAMANI PROGRAMS
Pads & Panties for Girls (PP4G)
The PP4G is an Uamani School flagship program helping vulnerable girls affected by extreme poverty.
We provide menstrual pads and panties for girls to protect them from being taken advantage of by evil men and to keep them in school and maintain their self-confidence and dignity.
We also provide counseling sessions for the girls on hygiene, abstinence, and pro-life education.
Pads supply for each girl cost $12 per year.
HIV/AIDS Youth Program
In collaboration with national and County governments Ministries of Health, Our HIV and AIDS Program for Youths is dedicated to empowering young people with the knowledge, skills, and support they need to protect their health and shape a better future. The program focuses on HIV prevention, awareness, and early testing through youth-friendly education, peer mentorship, and community outreach. By providing accurate information and creating safe spaces for open discussion, we help youths make informed and responsible choices.
We also connect youths to accessible health services, including counseling, HIV testing, prevention tools, and treatment support for those living with HIV. Through partnerships with schools, communities, and health facilities, the program works to reduce stigma, promote healthy lifestyles, and build confident, informed youths who can lead the fight against HIV and AIDS in their communities.
